       “西安事变”后，张学良将军于1938年被软禁在苏仙观内。在这里，张学良将军壮志难酬，有家难归，有国难报，挥笔在墙上写下了“恨天低，大鹏有翅愁难展”几个大字。字里行间无不饱含了少帅满腔爱国情怀却难展宏图的抑郁之情。曾囚禁张学良将军的厢房现为爱国主义教育基地，陈列了大量历史文献资料。
